Break out the Mistletoe! It’s the time of year for red lips and smooches. And if you are one to avoid lipstick because you can’t get it to stay on or it runs all over your mouth, here is how to get, feather-proof, fade-proof, perfect lips with staying power every time.
Start with both foundation and powder on your lips. Foundation is an adherent and everything you put over it will last longer, so add that plus powder. Line your lips with a liner that matches your lipstick and fill in your lips with the liner. Add a coat of lipstick. Blot your lips with a tissue and dust your lips with powder again. The powder will set the color that you have and lock it in. Now end with one more coat of liner and lipstick. You are good to go!
Glosses make your lipstick come off more easily, so choose a moisturizing formula and avoid glosses for extra long wear.
